
Churches of Revelation – April 20-28, 2026
Join us and Providence Christian Church (PCA) of Cape Coral Florida in an amazing in-depth tour of the Seven Churches of Revelation, as well as Patmos and Istanbul, in April of 2026.
All sites include expert biblical teaching from Dr. Bryan O’Neal, and Dr. Brent Lauder (pastor of Providence church)
Brief intended itinerary:
Day 1, April 20 - Land in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel (some sightseeing if schedules permit)
Day 2, April 21 - Guided tour of the famous sites of Istanbul: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Spice Market, Bosporus Cruise, and more.
Day 3, April 22 - Fly to Izmir (biblical Smyrna), and also visit Pergamum; overnight in Izmir
Day 4, April 23 - After breakfast, depart for Thyatira, then on to Sardis and Philadelphia, before arriving at our hotel in Pamukkale.
Day 5, April 24 - Tour the vast sites of Heirapolis and Laodicea, and then off to our hotel in the costal city of Kusadasi
Day 6, April 25 - We spend most of this day touring the world-famous archeological site of Ephesus, as well as visiting the basilica dedicated to the apostle John, before returning to our hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 7, April 26 - On this "Lord's Day" we take a charter boat to visit the island of Patmos where the apostle John, also on the Lord's Day, received the vision of the Apocalypse. We'll visit the shrine at the traditional site of the Revelation, and enjoy free time on this beautiful Greek island, before returning to our charter boat and our hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 8, April 27 - we will return to the Izmir airport to fly back to Istanbul, where we will have free time
Day 9, April 28 - we return to the Istanbul airport for our flights to return home

1st day // September 28, 2026 // Arrival Athens Airport - Athens
Arrival to the Airport of Athens. After your arrival we will be transferred to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day // September 29, 2026 // Athens - Full day Tour - Winery Oinotria Gi
In the morning after our breakfast, we will depart for our Half day Tour of Athens, starting from the Panathenaic Stadium known as Kallimarmaro. In Antiquity, the Stadium was used for Panathenea, the celebration head in honor of Goddess Athena. Passing along Panepistimiou Street, one of the most known and central streets of Athens, we will end up in the triad of neoclassical buildings: The Library, the Academy and the University. Coming next is our most important visit in the center of Athens, Acropolis. Here we will have the chance to admire magnificent monuments, such as Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, the Propilaia, the Ancient Agora, the theatre of Dionysus and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. We will have time for a tour in Parthenon Monument, which was built in the 5th century B.C by the architects Ictinus and Kallikrates. After the visit to the Acropolis, we will go to the New Acropolis Museum follows, which mainly includes findings of the archaeological area of Acropolis.
After that we will visit and we will be guided through the premises of the "Wine Museum" of the Winery Oinotria Gi. You will get to know the basic process of winemaking and you will taste representative labels of the Estate. Tasting a wine is undoubtedly a very fascinating process, during which sight, smell and taste play a dominant role! Return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day // September 30, 2026 // Athens - Corinth Canal - Olive Farm Markelos - Ancient Epidaurus - Nafplion
After breakfast, our journey will start by visiting the Corinth Canal, a narrow strip of land of 6 kilometers length, connecting Central Greece with the Peloponnese. We will have free time for photos and then we will be heading to Olive Farm Markelos. There we will have a tour of the facilities and presentation of the production line of the extra virgin olive oil. We will View video of the production of the extra virgin olive oil "From the tree ... to the bottle". In the end we will taste test of the product range (extra virgin olive oil – Kalamon olives – Kalamon olive paste).
Then, we will visit Epidaurus. Epidaurus was a small city in ancient Greece at the Saronic Gulf. Epidaurus was known for its Sanctuary situated about five miles (8 km) from the town, as well as its theatre, which is once again in use today. The huge theatre that delighted Pausanias for its symmetry and beauty is used again today for dramatic and other performances. The theatre is admired for its exceptional acoustics, which permit almost perfect intelligibility of unamplified spoken words from the proscenium to all 15,000 spectators, regardless of their seating. Then, we depart for the first capital of the Greek state during the period 1828-1833, Nafplion. We will have time to wander through the picturesque alleys of the city. Dinner and overnight stay.
4th day // October 01, 2026 // Nafplion - Mycenae - Winery Kalogri - Lagadia
After our breakfast we will depart for our guided tour to Mycenae. Mycenae was an ancient town of Argolis and one of the biggest centers of Greek civilization as it was a powerful military fortress. We will visit the Kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon, whom Homer praised in his epics.
Moving on, we will visit the Winery Kalogri. All areas of the winery are visitable and of special interest. In the restored building of 1870, visitors are guided through the 147-year history of the family, while learning about the modern occupation of organic farming and natural wines. They can see up close the aging of the wine in the underground cellars, enjoy the organic wines accompanied by village pies and breads with Petimezi, olives, cheese. After this great experience we will leave for Lagadia. Dinner and overnight stay.
5th day // October 02, 2026 // Lagadia - Cooking Class - Dimitsana - Stemnitsa - Ancient Olympia
After breakfast we will have an organized Cooking Class by an expert chef and then we will visit the the graphical villages Dimitsana and Stemnitsa and wonder around through the valleys. Then we will return to our hotel where we will have the pleasure to enjoy our lunch that we prepared in the morning with our own hands! After that we will be heading to ancient Olympia Dinner and overnight stay.
6th day // October 03, 2026 // Ancient Olympia - Nafpaktos - Ioannina
After breakfast we will depart for a guided tour to the Ancient Greek City of Ancient Olympia, known as the venue of the Olympic Games. In Olympia stood the chryselephantine statue of Zeus which during antiquity was one of the 7 wonders of the world. We will also visit the Archaeological Museum and the Stadium. Then we will depart for Nafpaktos, a town located on a bay on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth, 3 km west of the mouth of the river Mornos. There we will have our lunch and free time wonder around. After that we depart for Ioannina. Dinner and overnight stay.
7th day // October 04, 2026 / / Ioannina - Vitsa Cooking Class - Petrodasos Oxia - Monodendri - Ioannina
Today we will start our day with breakfast and we will have a tour in the city of Ioannina. Then we will go to Vitsa where we will have an organized cooking class by a local chef. We will see a very unique method of cooking. Essentially we will roast/cook out meat by burring it in the ground. This will take place outdoors on the mountains.
Moving on we will visit the nature by visiting unforgettable destinations such as the forest Oxia, Monodendri which is an outstanding village with stone houses as well as bridges. After that we will be transferred to Vitsa where for another time we will have the great opportunity to eat the food that we prepared in the morning at the cooking class. After our full day of unique experiences, we will get back to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
8th day // October 05, 2026 // Ioannina - Metsovo - Tositsa Foundation Cheese Factory - Kalambaka
In the morning after we have our breakfast, we will depart for Metsovo. There we will visit the Tositsa foundation cheese factory where we will see the production line and also taste different kinds of cheese. Then we will leave for Kalampaka. Dinner and overnight stay.
9th day // October 06, 2026 // Meteora - Trikala - Athens
After breakfast we will visit Meteora, which has particularly impressive scenery. Continue to Meteora Monasteries, perched upon the summits of gigantic rocks which have been etched into variety of strange shapes. Grey gigantic stalagmites and for a life totally dedicated to the worship of God. Then we will leave for the city of Trikala where we will have free time to wonder around and enjoy our lunch. After the we will depart for Athens where we will go to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
10th day // October 07, 2026 // Athens - Athens Airport Departure
As our trip to Greece comes to its end, we will be transferred to the Airport, returning home with the best memories and planning our next excursion.
