1st DAY / October 11, 2026 / Arrival THESSALONIKI AIRPORT - THESSALONIKI Overnight

Arrival at Thessaloniki Airport. Upon arrival, individuals will take taxis or Ubers  to the hotel in Thessaloniki for check-in.

 

2nd DAY / October 12, 2026 / THESSALONIKI Overnight

Breakfast and leisure/recovery day. Our first official gathering will be at dinner this evening.

 

3rd DAY / October 13, 2026 / THESSALONIKI - PHILIPPI - KAVALA - THESSALONIKI Overnight

After breakfast, we depart for Kavala, biblical Neapolis, were Paul first set foot on European soil. After lunch, we depart for Philippi, a site rich in early Christian history. First we visit the Baptistery of Lydia by the river, where Paul baptized her, the first Christian convert on European soil, followed later by the conversion of the Philippian jailer. We also explore the archaeological remains of the Forum of Philippi, the Christian Basilicas, the “Prison of Paul,” and the ancient Theater.   In the evening, we return to Thessaloniki.

 

 4th DAY / October 14, 2026 / THESSALONIKI Overnight

After breakfast, we will start our tour of Thessaloniki. We will walk to Roman Forum, then the nearby Church of Dimitrius. After lunch we will visit the Arch of Galerius and the Rotunda. The remainder of the afternoon is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

 

 5th DAY / October 15, 2026 / THESSALONIKI - VERIA - VERGINA - KALAMBAKA Overnight

After breakfast, we will depart for the capital of Imathia, Veria (Berea), built at the foot of Mount Vermio. Upon arrival, you will visit the Step of Apostle Paul and the historic Synagogue, located next to the Barbouta area, which over time became known as the Jewish District. The stone-built Synagogue is the oldest in Northern Greece. After lunch, we will continue to Vergina, where we will visit the Royal Tombs Museum, featuring four tombs and a small shrine known as the Heroes Garden. Among these, the most significant are the tomb of Philip II and that of Alexander IV. Our journey then continues to Kalambaka.

 

6th DAY / October 16, 2026 / KALAMBAKA - METEORA - DELPHI Overnight

After breakfast, we visit the world-famous Byzantine monasteries of Meteora, dramatically perched atop towering gray rock formations of striking and varied shapes. Their history dates back to the 14th century, when monks first sought refuge in the natural caves of the cliffs, later ascending even higher to construct simple wooden shelters. Over time, these evolved into the remarkable monasteries we see today. En route to Delphi, we also stop at Thermopylae, the legendary battlefield where King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans made their heroic last stand against the vast Persian army. We then continue our journey onward to Delphi. 

 

7th DAY / October 17, 2026 / DELPHI - NAFPAKTOS - OLYMPIA Overnight

 After breakfast, we will depart for Delphi, an ancient Greek city that was home to the most important oracle in the ancient Greek world. According to early myths and traditions, the site was already significant in the pre-classical period (as early as 1400 BC). The Pythia, or Delphic Oracle, served as a major religious center, later dedicated to the worship of the god Apollo after he slew Python, the serpent who guarded the navel of the Earth. We will enjoy a guided tour of both the archaeological site and the Museum. We will then depart for Nafpaktos, where we will have free time for lunch. This charming coastal town lies on the Corinthian Gulf and boasts a rich history, dating back to 1104 BC with the arrival of the Dorians. Nafpaktos is also known for the famous naval battle of 1571 between the Christian forces and the Ottoman Empire. We will have time to stroll around the picturesque Venetian harbour before continuing our journey to Olympia.

 

8th DAY / October 18, 2026 / OLYMPIA - NAFPLION Overnight

After breakfast, we set out to explore Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games. Strolling through its remarkable ruins, we discover iconic landmarks such as the majestic Temple of Zeus and the original ancient stadium where athletes once competed. Our visit continues at the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, where exceptional treasures await, including the celebrated Hermes of Praxiteles. We then proceed to the picturesque town of Nafplion, our next destination.

 

9th DAY / October 19, 2026 / NAFPLION - ANCIENT CORINTH - CENCHREAE - ATHENS Overnight

After breakfast, we continue our sightseeing with a visit to Ancient Corinth, the once-glorious city near the Isthmus, where the Apostle Paul met Aquila and Priscilla and spent a year and a half preaching the Word of God. During our visit, we explore the Archaeological Museum, the Forum, the Temples, and the famous Bema, where Paul stood before Gallio, accused by the Jews of Corinth. We continue on to our hotel in Athens.

 

10th DAY / October 20, 2026 / ATHENS Overnight

 After breakfast, we will begin our tour at the agora, or ancient forum, of Athens, where Paul debated the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers.  Our tour continues with a visit to Mars Hill (Acts 17:16–34) and the Acropolis, where we will see its magnificent monuments, including the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, the Ancient Agora, the Theatre of Dionysus, and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. We will have the opportunity to walk around the Parthenon, built in the 5th century BC by the architects Ictinus and Kallikrates. Free time will be provided in the charming Plaka area before returning to the hotel. 


 11th Day / October 21, 2026 / ATHENS - ATHENS AIRPORT - SAMOS AIRPORT - SAMOS Overnight

After breakfast, we will be transferred to Athens Airport for your flight to Samos. Upon arrival at Samos Airport, we will be transferred to our hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing us to relax or explore the island’s charming surroundings at our own pace.

 

12th Day / October 22, 2026 / SAMOS - SAMOS PORT - KUSADASI PORT - EPHESUS TOUR - KUSADASI PORT - SAMOS PORT - SAMOS Overnight

After breakfast, we begin our day in Samos with a transfer to Samos Port, where we will board the ferry to Kusadasi, Turkey. Upon arrival, proceed to the Ancient City of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the world. Explore the remarkable remains of this historic city, including the iconic Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, and the Temple of Hadrian. After the visit, return to Kusadasi Port to board the ferry back to Samos. Upon arrival in Samos, transfer to our hotel.

 

13th Day / October 23, 2026 / SAMOS - SAMOS PORT - PATMOS PORT - PATMOS TOUR - PATMOS PORT - SAMOS PORT - SAMOS Overnight

After breakfast, we depart from our hotel in Samos and transfer to Samos Port to board the ferry to Patmos. Upon arrival, we begin a guided tour of this spiritually significant island, renowned for its deep historical and religious heritage. We visit the Cave of the Apocalypse, where Saint John is believed to have written the Book of Revelation. After immersing ourselves in the island’s unique atmosphere and sacred history, we return to Patmos Port to board the ferry back to Samos. Upon arrival in Samos, we transfer to our hotel.

 

14th Day / October 24, 2026 / SAMOS - SAMOS AIRPORT - ATHENS Departure

After breakfast, we will be transferred to Samos Airport for our flight to Athens, where we will connect with our return flight home. We depart with the best memories.

 

Rates: $5,570 per passenger (double occupancy). $1500 surcharge for single room.

 

These rates include accommodations, most meals, site admissions, English speaking guides, travel by luxury touring coach, round trip flights Athens-Samos-Athens, all tips for guides and drivers.

 

Rates exclude international flights, some meals, beverages, personal expenses, visas (if necessary), travel insurance.
